Project Manager DITLO Ready Reckoner

You Enable Project Value — Safe Delivery, Integrated Execution, and Handover Readiness Start With You

As Project Manager, your role is not to coordinate project activity in isolation. It is to ensure capital and sustaining projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to specification, while integrating engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.

This ready reckoner reframes your role from project coordinator to project delivery leader, scope, cost, schedule and risk custodian, contractor and vendor performance manager, engineering and construction integrator, and capital value realisation enabler.

When your operating rhythm is strong, project scopes are aligned to asset needs, risks are escalated early, contractors perform, procurement keeps pace, and handovers are clean. When it is weak, scope drift, delay, claims, safety exposure, and poor handover erode value.

Your role is to ensure that project intent becomes safe, predictable, high-quality delivery and usable asset value.
